This position will be a key resource toreport generation and updating monthly, quarterly, and annualreporting. The analyst will assist with monthly close, P&L review, andreport preparation along withbudget andforecastingtemplates. This position willsupport ClubAccounting with allfinancial analysis,budgeting, andforecasting related to WorldMark the Club. This position works collaboratively with Management and the accounting staff in ClubAccounting to determine nature of expenses tobudget and any potential adjustments needed within the accounting software. Additionally, this position monitors fluctuations or changes from thebudget to forecasts. This information helps the Operational leaders ensure thefinancialhealth of the Clubs.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with the Financial Analyst I and Financial Analyst II to complete all monthly requests and assist with development of the FP&A team.
  • Financial Report Development
    • Maintain Chart of Accounts fields in PeopleSoft, as requested by General Ledger group.
    • Maintain financial statement layouts in PeopleSoft nVision for both WorldMark and Wyndham Resort Development activity.
    • Tie out financial statements to general ledger activity.
    • Run monthly reports and be sure they are tied out
    • Create new reports as requested by Operations or Accounting
  • Resort/Corporate Accounting Support
    • Generate & Distribute monthly departmental P&L reports for business partners and department heads. Run reports out of Peoplesoft/Nvision and investigate variances upon request.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly P&L reports for month-end close process
    • Analyze Variances – including Actual vs Budget, Actual vs Forecast, and Forecast vs Budget as needed
    • Assist with preparation of monthly forecast file
  • Annual Budget Preparation – this position will both complete some individual budget tasks, as well as coordinating tasks with resort accounting.
    • Develop budget worksheets in Smart View in conjunction with Orlando WVO Financial Planning & Analysis for all corporate departments
    • Develop resort budgettemplate, incorporating changes requested by Resort Operations.
    • Use Smart View to complete budget and roll it up.
    • Act as a resource to the corporate managers in preparing their individual budgets.
    • Prepare summary information reports for senior management.
    • Revise budget as needed throughout budget cycle, and prepare variance analyses.
  • Monthly Forecast Preparation
    • Create annual forecast file off of the budget worksheets.
    • In conjunction with resort accounting, update monthly forecast file for known changes.
    • Review variance files created by intermediate analysts for accuracy before submission to senior management and FP&A.
    • Participate in monthly conference calls with senior management on results, and complete any requested action items.
  • Ad Hoc
    • Ad Hoc reporting and analysis as requested to help support the accounting department and operational managers.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related area.
  • Minimum 5+ years finance or accounting experience in a corporate environment.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft products, excellent in Excel and strong in Access.
  • VBA experiencepreferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Excellent professional communication skills, good organization skills, ability to multi-task & coordinate multiple projects.
  • Deadline conscious with strong drive, initiative and the ability to work well in time-sensitive situations.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and team environment.
  • Working knowledge of financial and statistical analysis.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, be well organized, perform under stressful situations and communicative effectively.
  • PeopleSoft, Monarch, Brio, and/or Business Objects experiencepreferred.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA desirable, but not required.
