Merrill Corporation is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Global Sales and Marketing team. The Financial Analyst will provide primary analysis for our North America Sales personnel supporting two product lines, however, global consolidation and review is necessary. the Financial Analyst works primarily with Chief Revenue and Marketing officer reporting into FP&A.

 

  • Compile monthly, quarterly and annual global selling and marketing costs and variance explanations
  • Direct and Selling overhead
  • Marketing personnel and programs and ROI
  • Determine variances against budget and forecast by program, account and cost center
  • Monthly cost reporting vs budget, prior year and forecast with variance explanations.
  • Cost center reporting
  • Board presentation materials
  • Budget and forecast variance explanations
  • Leading indicator and operational metrics
  • Annual Budget and monthly forecast compilation of selling and marketing costs including Hyperion input
  • Align sales and marketing strategy for ?work force planning?Hyperion input 
  • Review trends and incorporate initiatives to determine monthly phasing
  • Strategic initiatives are calculated, monitored and ROI?s are determined where applicable
  • Monitor spend related to new products

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • 4yeardegree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5-8years of experience in Financial Analysis activities to include, forecasting and planning
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve using a variety of resources
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral

  • Public Accounting experience, Big 4 or large regional
