Nemours is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (FULL-TIME) to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Orlando, Florida.

Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children’s Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 100-bed pediatric hospital also features the area’s only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. Job Duties

This position is responsible for: Under the direction of the Director of Finance for NCH and the Orlando Practice, the Senior Budget/ Financial Analyst is responsible for management reporting, financial analysis, operating budgets, capital budgets and accounting issues relating to the Orlando site. The Senior Budget/ Financial Analyst will provide support to the Hospital and Clinic Administrators and Department Directors/ Managers by assisting with fiscal monitoring the operations and providing analysis of key performance indicators.

  • Issues monthly management reports to Administrators, Department Directors and Managers.
  • Works with the Department management on developing the budgets, including training, coordination and review.
  • Prepares, reviews and analyzes financial data for purpose of hospital/practice decision support.
  • Develops monthly variance reports, and researches reasons for variances.
  • Works with Management to prepare a quarterly update to the budget based on current volume levels.
  • Educates and assists Managers and Administrators in understanding financial reports.
  • Prepares special reports and projects as assigned by the Hospital/ Practice Director or Administrator.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Good communications skills are required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Financial Analysis/Budget preparation required.
  • Healthcare finance experience strongly preferred.
  • Hospital financial experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent Excel/ spreadsheet analysis skills.
  • Will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
