Tennant is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst at our global headquarters in Minneapolis. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing strong financial support to the global operations team within Tennant Company by providing insightful analysis.  The role will require strong analytical and financial modelling skills.  The role will interact with peers and cross functional leaders thus requiring strong business acumen and communication skills.  The expectation of this role is for the incumbent to provide accurate, timely and actionable business information to decision makers. 


General Responsibilities:

  • Partner with global operations to manage deliverables for monthly and quarterly review
  • Lead monthly and yearly inventoryaudit process
  • Provide analysis on key business drivers & metrics
  • Create and optimize financialreporting & financial models
  • Lead the development of monthly & quarterly business reporting
  • Lead monthly financialforecasting and annual operating planning processes for key stakeholders
  • Respond to requests from business partners for analytics, metrics, & trends to drive informed decision making
  • Lead monthly and yearly inventoryaudit process
  • Build relationships across teams globally to drive consistency in reporting and forecasting


Required Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's Degreerequired, focus in accounting or financepreferred
  • 5 years of experience in analytical roles
  • Strong team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with SAP a big plus
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and VBA programming
  • Knowledge and experience with management reporting applications
