As Senior Financial Analyst of Business Unit (BU) Finance a candidate will be responsible for supporting the Company's business with financial leadership and control in evaluating and executing long term business strategies and making portfolio investment decisions. This Senior Analyst will collaborate with Business, Engineering, Finance and Operations leadership to support a cross-functional business unit and product portfolio analysis. The objective of such process will be to enable effective and insightful investment choices among a broadening product and technology portfolio.

As a senior member of Finance, a person in this position will be looked upon to provide leadership in building an environment where business and financial information is accessible, timely, accurate and relevant to the decision-making process. They'll be expected to be a trusted advisor to management through interpreting business results and assessing business risk. They will be adept at using a variety of tools to carry out their responsibilities including operational and financial data warehouses, P&L models, pricing models and return on investment and product cost analyses.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure proper financial controls and governance are in place with respect to product portfolio decision processes
  • Evaluate relevance and effectiveness of key performance indicators and metrics, ensure such key performance indicators are reported in a timely and transparent manner
  • Participate in cross functional efforts to develop portfolio analysis tools and processes, ensure processes are documented and understood
  • Provide early cost and profitability analysis of new technologies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 10+ years finance and investment evaluation experience
  • Significant exposure to business management and strategic planning activities
  • Strong business sense
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to work across functional boundaries
  • A track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Post-graduate degree in finance or business desired
