POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance organization supporting the AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain & Logistic team. We are looking for a leader that has the entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys working with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Through insightful and data-driven analysis, you will partner, collaborate and lead supply chain optimization initiatives to drive our flywheel. This role is both strategic and detailed in nature and requires a finance leader who likes rolling up his/her sleeves to make an impact. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and multicultural environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the ability to fulfill the Amazon motto to “Work Hard. Have Fun. Make History.”

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serve as a key finance partner working with business partners and cross-functional teams to uncover trends in large amounts of data and provide actionable insights and cost savings opportunities
· Co-lead new business integrations and lead all necessary workflows under the finance/accounting umbrella
· You must have the ability to structure problems, perform analysis, and present to senior executives. Supporting business partners at Amazon requires the ability to dissent, while building trust with your business partners
· Manage competing priorities & provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events
· Develop metrics and reports to provide visibility into cost structure and drive actionable goals with business team
· Manage compliance with controls and systems, and continuously improve and develop new processes to support the fast-growing, global AWS business

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
· 7+ years of leading finance in manufacturing/supply chain
· 2+ years of people management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA/CFA/CFA Preferred
· Green or Black Belt Six Sigma certified
· PMP certification
· Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
· Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
· Exceptional business judgment capable of driving a diverse organization to the right results with a focused, pragmatic approach
· Strong bias for action, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, Cognos TM1.
