The Marketplace Finance team seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to own end-to-end financial responsibilities for the rapidly expanding Amazon Services business segment including Home Services and Smart Home Services. Amazon Home Services is a marketplace for customers to purchase services from professionals such as plumbers, electricians, and handymen on Amazon.com. Amazon Smart Home Services enables customers to get new smart home products installed and set up properly in their homes.

In this role, the candidate will partner with key Amazon Services business leaders and will provide strong financial controllership, P&L reporting, ad hoc financial analysis on new opportunities, and cost efficiency projects. They will develop & implement policies and provide recommendations to guide the organization in achieving its long-term vision and driving profitability. The candidate will also work with the business team to support a cadence of weekly/monthly business reviews and lead the forecasting component of the team’s annual operating plan. This role will have significant visibility and partnership with senior leadership and will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to meaningfully impact the business team’s growth. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a high attention to detail that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. They should be a fast learner who can be analytical in their decision-making and can drive issues and projects to completion. As the services space is still very much a start-up, the ideal candidate should be capable of influencing decisions, innovating, and helping to launch new streams of business.
