Senior Finance Analyst - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) System at WR Grace & Co in Columbia, MD

Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior Finance Analyst- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) system, who will report to Senior Finance Manager, Financial Systems. In this role you will manage the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) system for the Grace Finance organization and work directly with the business and finance leaders to gather requirements and develop functional specifications for SAC stories and dashboards. Additional responsibilities include:

• Work with IT to develop the technical specifications for the SAC stories and dashboards
• Design, build, test, document, and maintain SAC stories and dashboards to support data-driven analysis and decision making along with internal and external reporting and KPI’s
• Provide day-to-day technical and functional assistance to SAC Finance users
• Develop, coordinate and deliver end-user training
• Participate in and provide support to external auditors for quarterly reviews, year-end audits, and internal control audits as needed
• Ensure SOX compliance, data security and other key controls
• Ensure all SAC Finance stories and dashboards follow Grace branding standards
• Stay up-to-date on new SAC developments, enhancements, and functionality
• Lead or support efforts to implement new planning functionality in SAC
• Support special projects such as implementation of new consolidation system, SAP upgrades, process improvement initiatives, and business realignments

Required Skills

• Knowledge of SAP systems and related systems (ECC, BPC, SAC, BW, etc.)
• Experience implementing SAC stories / dashboards
• Experience with planning, budgeting and forecasting, driving financial processes and creating complex financial modeling and analysis
• Strong knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite capabilities (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be flexible and embrace change

Required Experience

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field
• 5 years relevant experience in large multinational corporation
• Knowledge of financial systems, SAP highly preferred, however other ERP is acceptable

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA
• Project management experience
• Experience with Google Big Query
