What You'll Do
Develop and execute marketing programs to create pipeline and help close revenue
Coordinate our partner marketing framework and program
Working closely with field marketing counterparts and regional sales leadership
Lead marketing enablement efforts with global sales and act as consensus-builder, trainer and partner to lock in sales team participation and maximize effectiveness against opportunities in the sales pipeline.
Team up with sales, channel management, product marketing, and demand generation
Communicate with sales to gain buy-in, understanding and participation in marketing programs; including the Marketing Minute e-newsletter; a summary of sales tools, competitive information, and thought leadership pieces designed to help the sales team sell.
Provide support through sales tools such as Seismic, training and market expertise to sellers to ensure their ability to consultatively sell solutions.
Serve as the point-person for recommending and developing specific marketing programs, content and tools based on perceived and identified sales needs; develop and repurpose relevant marketing content in support of sales managers and field teams as needed.
Use qualitative and quantitative measures to assess regional and market-specific opportunities for marketing to support in lead generation and sales pipeline development; activities may include regional events, customer references, personalized campaigns, proposals or briefing documents.
Be knowledgeable of Cherwell solutions, able to participate in discussions with customers and to participate at events and tradeshows as needed.
Track Win/Loss data to develop a narrative of Cherwell’s sales patterns in Seismic for the benefit of sales- which deals do we win and why? Extrapolate learnings from this analysis to provide insight to other areas of marketing that develop campaigns and content.
Work with sales to identify customers for testimonials, responsible for reference and case study development.
Track field marketing spend, monitor progress and measure results of all regional marketing campaigns through regular pipeline inspection and campaign tracking.
7+ years of marketing experience including account-based marketing, event marketing, online marketing, and social media
7+ years experience executing marketing campaigns and/or partner marketing programs.
7+ years experience in technology marketing Alliances or Channel Marketing.
7+ years using social media tools
Experience reporting, budget forecasting, and analytics
Expertise in business relationships
Experience in marketing automation,CRM tools (Pardot and Salesforce) and sales tools (Seismic)
Willing and able to travel up to 25%
Ability to develop integrated marketing plans to achieve desired outcome
Proven ability to work with multiple levels of management; emphasis on high responsiveness and accountability
Demonstrated cross-functional capabilities across multiple teams including sales, channel, demand generation, content marketing and sales operations
Live in any major city in the Western states
