Senior Field Marketing ManagerPivot3 is a fast growing pioneer of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), an exciting technology that is driving a profound transformation in IT.  Analyst firms Gartner and Forrester have identified HCI as being the hottest area of IT for the next several years. Pivot3's solutions enable users in Healthcare, Entertainment, Government, and Manufacturing to power teams with virtual desktops (VDI), reduce risk with powerful Disaster Recovery solutions and enhance security with purpose-built Video Surveillance solutions.   Position Overview   As the Sr. Manager, Field Marketing, you will plan, execute, and measure demand generation and pipeline acceleration in the Western US Sales Region and Mexico. Qualified candidates will have experience managing marketing programs targeting both technical and executive audiences as well as Pivot3 channel partners. Candidates will also have demonstrable experience in planning events and activities for both end user clients and channel partners. Strong written and verbal communication skills are at a premium in this role as there is constant communication required with all stakeholders around programs and initiatives.  The position is also directly responsible for delivering ROI and analytics specific to marketing planning with channel and alliance partners, including event management and lead generation campaigns, communication, and overall program adoption. The ability to foster a healthy relationship between sales and marketing is a must. Experience in a highly data-driven marketing organization is critical for to success in this role.   Duties and Responsibilities 

  • This role is key in supporting both the demand generation and partner marketing organizations and will report to the Senior Director - Marketing
  • Manage collaboratively with Channel Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Demand Generation, and Field Sales to drive success in the Western US Sales Region and Mexico
  • Support development of the Pivot3 brand and awareness in the region
  • Plan and execute marketing activities and programs with partners including joint physical and virtual events, website co-marketing, and email campaigns
  • Manage and assess partner-initiated events and recommend strategy for participation
  • Manage marketing development fund (MDF) allocation ensuring activity plans are in line with quarterly budgets, and events have a clear and tracked ROI
  • Serve as the first point of contact for partner marketing questions and requests
  • Provide suggestions and ideas that enhance FMM processes and simplicity of operation
  • Work with corporate marketing to implement programs and campaigns in the region, including execution of field and partner events

Required and Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing
  • Strong field and/or channelmarketing program expertise including proven responsibility for multiple, multi-touch marketing initiatives
  • Experience with project management, negotiation and data driven decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational abilities, including proven attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with wide variety of personality types among internal stakeholders, clients, and partner network
  • Self-starter with strong goal orientation and work ethic
  • Innovative and creative approach to marketingcampaigns and messaging
  • Experience with enterprise data center technology (software, virtualization or hyperconvergedinfrastructure is highly desirable
  • Spanish fluency is a big plus
