Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas has an opening for a faculty member at the level of Assistant or AssociateProfessor in the Chest/Cardiothoracic imaging division. The position is in a hybrid setting, providing coverage to a level 1 trauma center. The department works with the radiology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, which has 48 residents.
Toracic Imaging fellowship training is required with strong clinical experience in all areas of chest imaging including CT, MRI, and plain film. Additional Cardiac Imaging mini-Fellowship is highly desired.
Applicants must be board certified in radiology and eligible for unrestricted licensure in the State of Texas. Responsibilities will be a mix of clinical, teaching, and academic activities. The faculty position includes also participation in an internal night coverage system, involving both staffing of residents as well as coverage of the community hospitals. Occasional weekend day coverage is also included in the faculty call pool.
Baylor is located in the Texas Medical Center. Our facilities contain multiple equipment vendors and include dual energy CT scanner and 3T MRI, including full cardiac package.
