The Senior Firmware Engineer analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software. Troubleshoots code for firmware (IC embedded code) applications. The work often involves analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.  The ideal individual must achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to work effectively cross-functionally. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to coordinate priorities and initiatives. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge and understanding of department strategic objectives and goals.




Position requires knowledge and exposure to hardware design. Typically programs in high level languages (C, C++) and  assembly language. Skills/Experience: Requires BSEE/BSCS/BSCE degree and 2+ years of related experience or a MSEE/MSCS/MSCE degree with 0+ years of related experience. Interface FW experience a plus (NVMe, SAS, SATA).
