The incumbent reports to the Engineering Sr. Manager, and receives direction in the form of broadly defined objectives.  Responsibilities include overall or electrical leadership of primarily capital projects.  Incumbent is recognized for technical knowledge in engineering, and works within the Global Nonwovens organization supporting projects and providing electrical engineering expertise to address manufacturing needs, while maintaining flexibility and personal/organizational sensitivity. The incumbent provides work direction to junior and senior technical employees, leads broader teams, other functional team members, co-ops, technicians, service providers, etc.

Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:

This position typically requires a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering. The incumbent also must have broad knowledge and significant experience in the technical and operations areas.  Typically, the incumbent must have at least ten years of relevant engineering experience in a variety of mill and staff assignments. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment is required.  Significant experience with Rockwell Automation hardware and software is required.  In addition, experience with Siemens hardware and software experience is a plus.

  • Project responsibility up to $30 MM
  • Project team of 2 to 20 people

Principal Accountabilities:
