Siemens Mobility is seeking to hire a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer for the R&D team in the domain of embedded systems for rail signaling and onboard equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for design and development of new and existing products. We are looking for a proven understanding of electrical engineering and digital and analog design practices, along with knowledge in signal processing and network communications. Also, we would love for you to have experience with implementation of communications algorithms in FPGA environments and be capable of translating functional requirements into efficient working designs.

Your primary focus will be PTC Onboard Unit hardware systems and installations. You will need to make evidence-based hardware and design decisions, as well as be comfortable performing field installations on freight locomotives of PTC Onboard hardware.
