We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team to work on our client-server netcode, to help us improve player experience, lower bandwidth, and to work on cool new gameplay features.
What you’ll do...
We want someone who is excited to work on a very complex netcode system – client prediction, client/server architecture, where the server simulation is authoritative and clients aren’t trusted
Develop gameplay features and work with our designers to implement new systems
Work with our Stryder backend to implement features and own the whole feature from front to back – doing the client, the server, and the backend work so you can do the best implementation.
Opportunity to work on other areas that interest you – we don’t pigeonhole here. Gameplay, AI, systems, optimization are all things that coders here split their time between. You will be a coder who is great at netcode, but you are not stuck only doing “networking” tasks.

Ideally, you will have…
Familiarity with client/server FPS networkarchitecture (Quake3, Tribes, etc.)
Bachelors in Software Engineer, Computer Science, or equivalent
Coding expertise in C/C++
Shipped titles working PS4, XB1, and PC doing network gameplay engineering
Passion for making and playing games.
Shipped AAA game(s) preferred.
