Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for providing leadership, structure and vision to meet established operational and financial goals and objectives: 

  • Responsible for both enterprise and embedded client services strategy inclusive of development and growth of third-party managed services partnerships.
  • Responsible for the definition of client standards in the enterprise and embedded client base.
  • Ensuring in-house, enterprise, embedded and 3rd-party partner operations are enabled with respect to new releases of Trident IRT and adjacent technologies.
  • Responsible for roadmaps, direction & investment in RTSM products to ensure industry leadership.
  • Establishing and furthering Bioclinica’s reputation of thought leadership in the RTSM space
  • Acting as Sales Overlay supporting Bus. Devel. where consultative/solution selling/SME support is needed
  • Recommending strategies to the Head of RTSM
  • Keeping Sr. Mgmt. advised of current issues

Responsible for directing/coordinating day-to-day activities of assigned personnel in order to promote effective execution, delivery and communication: 

  • Driving growth in the RTSM business
  • Participating in financial planning/analysis, reporting, contract review, process improvement

Provide direction, structure, coaching and support to managers, supervisors and other employees:

  • Managing personnel to assure compliance to customer and internal requirements
  • Coaching, counseling, disciplining and developing key staff
  • Conducting performance reviews, and approving timesheets and time off for direct reports
  • Coordinating and conducting interviews; facilitating hiring decisions

Ensures RTSM Enterprise and Embedded customer satisfaction by:

  • Supporting teams that directly managing Enterprise and Embedded accounts
  • Ensuring RTSM client-facing personnel are trained and positioned to act as trusted advisors to their clients
  • Provide industry, SME and operational input into product development roadmaps and release plans.
  • Developing appropriate quality assessment practices to ensure any managed service partners are delivering services to an acceptable level of quality to further Bioclinica’s reputation in the field.
  • Acting as a management escalation point for embedded and enterprise client concerns
  • Continuously working toward a goal of 100% customer satisfaction

Improves Embedded and Enterprise team productivity, efficiency and quality by

  • Assessing existing processes and tools on a periodic basis
  • Identifying, documenting and implementing necessary changes to process
  • Requesting and coordinating the implementation of new or improved tools needed
  • Supporting the CAPA process, as needed

Secondary Responsibilities

Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by

  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”)
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards
  • Reviewing and updating company SOPs related to product and service delivery

Contributes to team effort by

  • Representing Bioclinica’s RTSM franchise at industry conferences and events
  • Working with internal staff to resolve issues
  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes
  • Helping others to achieve results
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Maintains Technical and Industry Knowledge by

  • Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working with RTSM systems as either a Business or Technical Manager, Implementation Manager or Project Manager
  • Minimum of seven (5) years of experience with significant responsibilities for planning, budgeting, customer relations, and personnel management
  • Previous management or project experience in clinical development or demonstrated success working in other healthcare-related environment(s) preferred
  • Clinical trials experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical research organization preferred
  • Working knowledge of FDA and international regulatory standards related to product realization/safety

Additional skill set:

  • Managerial proficiency with computer software including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • High degree of ability to coach and motivate individuals
  • Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude
