About the Role
We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world.
We are currently looking for a Senior Director in our Public Affairs, Energy & Natural Resources group with specific expertise in the power and renewables sector. The Senior Director will take a leadership role in the development and management of communications programs such as advocacy campaigns, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, and interacting with media. The Senior Director will oversee the development and execution of multi-stakeholder communications activities, which requires knowledge of the energy industry, including but not limited to federal and state policy applicable to the utility and power sector – such as tax, trade, environment, infrastructure, climate change, national security, and financing.
The Senior Director is a primary client counselor and will be a valuable member of a growing global practice, supporting projects across a variety of industry sectors. A successful Senior Director will work in collaboration with colleagues and clients to provide tailored solutions that successfully engage employees and communicate change within organizations. She or he is confident in an entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, the media, and other relevant stakeholders. The Senior Director must operate with the utmost integrity, deliver high quality, client-ready work, and contribute to new business activities as well as internal firm and team development initiatives. Periodic travel is required.
What You'll Do
The Senior Director manages account teams and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of clients' objectives and challenges to oversee the design and implementation of innovative strategies to assist them through communication challenges and position them for the future.
