Senior Director, Product Marketing

VTS is seeking a Product Marketing Sr. Director who is passionate about building go-to-market strategies in an exciting market. You’ll develop a keen understanding of our amazing customers and market and use this knowledge to prioritize and drive the right go-to-market efforts. You will craft the messaging and positioning to further accelerate our growth and will be instrumental in defining pricing & packaging, and marketing tactics that drive demand and enabling the sales and marketing teams.

An ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits customers care about is critical. Reporting directly to the CMO, you’ll build a team that are experts in the market, the buyers, how they buy and their decision criteria and will help transfer that knowledge to the sales and marketing teams. You will also lead strategic efforts including gaining a better understanding of the customer, driving new product launches and supporting go-to-market efforts. You will work closely with the product management to team develop and communicate our product strategy while ensuring our sales teams are equipped with everything they need to succeed.

Identify industry, market and customer needs and opportunities, ensuring clear and differentiated positions for all VTS solutions
Communicate the value proposition of VTS solutions to the sales team and develop sales tools that support sales execution
Define and drive pricing and packaging in collaboration with sales, finance, and customer success
Ensure content (e.g. case studies, sales enablement materials, product videos, web copy, competitive differentiation, white papers) communicates the unique capabilities of our platform in customer language (read: no gobbledygook. seriously).
Own sales enablement, competitive analysis, thought leadership content, and product launches
Assist members of the sales team with calls to their customers when appropriate
Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria. Conduct partner / market surveys and interviews to build expertise in the market, customers and competitive landscape. We pride ourselves on knowing CRE better than any other company.
Speak and present both externally and internally to promote our platform and our solutions
Work closely with product management to plan and launch new products
Hire and train a world-class product marketing team


10+ years in enterprise software product marketing for SaaS companies
3+ years in leadership role in building teams and cross-functional relationships
Combination of visionary, strategic and pragmatic experience, encompassing both strategic product marketing experience and hands-on execution
Bachelors in business, engineering or computer science (MBA a plus) – or related industry experience
Great at cross-functional team management, influence without authority. You and your team are at the center of the organization constantly interacting with sales, marketing, product, and customers
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional analytical skills, i.e. ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries, and deliver actionable business insights
Combination of visionary, strategic and pragmatic experience, encompassing both strategic product marketing experience and hands-on execution
Experience conducting and analyzing market and competitive research
