We are seeking a Senior Director of Manufacturing for the America's Region for a global company.


This role is located in Texas. Relocation assistance is available.


This role will be responsible for 5,000+ employees across several manufacturing sites across the Americas, supported by a number of distribution centers.


Responsibilities:


The Senior Director of Manufacturing will be a highly impactful and influential member of the global manufacturing leadership team for the company.


The role will provide functional leadership for manufacturing in the Americas including; supply chain strategy, logistics, warehousing/distribution, manufacturing, site safety, quality and employee engagement.


The Senior Director of Manufacturing will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders both inside and outside of the organization in driving the company's best in class manufacturing agenda. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for partnering with their Business Leaders to ensure that customer service remains at the center of all they do.


  • Provide leadership and vision to the Americas manufacturing organization understanding and leveraging both people and technology to elevate overall operational performance.


  • Drive large-scale change throughout the system by introducing plans that address organization,productivity, costs and working capital.


  • Drive synergies and efficiencies.


  • Establish world-class, lean manufacturing standards and techniques to be applied in such areas as productivity, people safety, quality, raw material and product yields, throughput and waste reduction, plant reliability and environmental compliance, etc.


  • Establish world class New Product Introduction processes to ensure manufacturing supports rapid growth and delivers on customer expectations


  • Work with business leaders in the design and execution of the organization's forecasting, demand planning and SIOP strategy to drive inventory and cycle time reductions.


  • Recruit, train, mentor and develop an engaged, diverse and world-class supply chain organization.


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree


10+ years leadership experience.


20+ years of end-to-end manufacturing experience of increased responsibility in a complex manufacturing environment, including experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.


Must have experience in a diverse, matrixed, multi-cultural environment and experience of working with a Mexican manufacturing base.


Must have experience in successfully developing and implementing a lean operating system.


Strong domain expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
