SUMMARY OF JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Director, Deployment Services will lead a team responsible for ensuring the end-to-end delivery of our solutions (product and related services) via full-scale project management, equipment installation services, and coordination of on-site customer training. Working cross-functionally, this position will provide strategic oversight to all aspects of project execution and delivery related to the implementation of customer solutions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides counsel and guidance to delivery teams to help solve and advise on strategic approaches to customer challenges; Assists in removinginternal and external obstacles
Identifies professional services sales opportunities to maximize business potential and generate ongoing/recurring revenue streams
Proactively manages shifting resource demands and develops creative contingency plans related to changing customer requirements and project scope
Establishes and maintains a consistent/standard program management and delivery methodology, tools and templates
Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators with a continuous improvement mindset, developing the most cost effective and consistent processes and reporting to deliver flawless execution of services
Education & Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related area required; professional business experience; MBA or related Master’s degree a plus
7-10 years of progressive experience with proven performance record of success in PMO or related environment
Minimum of 5 years leading implementation teams with ability to attract, develop, lead and retain a high performing team
Demonstrated ability to establish and refine effective PMO-related strategies, standardized project methodologies and best practices
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong results orientation and ability to drive and maximize new business opportunities
Ability to inspire and hold accountable team members to perform to highest standards
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex initiatives to ensure efficient and value added outcomes
Strategic thinker, resourceful, and excellent problem solving and analytic ability
Strong relationship and team building skills both internally and externally; ability to quickly establish credibility and relationships
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to travel to customer sites and company meetings up to 30% of the time
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most of the time is spent sitting at a desk in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light items.
