  • Functioning as the brand expert, determining how the brand positioning is realized through various touchpoints, workstreams, and initiatives in communications, marketing, design, guest experience, digital ecosystems and more
  • Partnering with the brand operations leaders in developing strategic focus areas and plans for the brand - including brand defining elements, brand standards and coordinating quality assurance/property compliance
  • Working with WHG digital teams to ensure the brand is properly presented across all of our digital channels and distribution teams
  • Leading brand specific social media strategies, content development, brand channel management, influencer activations and paid social campaigns in support of brand initiatives and promotions
  • Alignment with Wyndham Rewards to properly tie in to our umbrella campaigns and to fully leverage the Wyndham Rewards program and direct marketing channels
  • Partnering with our Financial and Business and Analysis teams to identify trends and opportunities, brand tracking and research, and performance reporting
  • Planning strategic promotions for brands and coordinating all promotions through our Revenue Management and Marketing Planning teams
  • Developing an ongoing PR strategy, consumer campaigns, and internal communications campaigns
  • Managing media buys in North America (United States & Canada) through partnerships with media agencies and the integrated media team
  • Managing creative agencies/creative services to develop brand creative elements and standards that can be implemented across all channels and regions
  • Coordinating proper implementation and content in our customer contact centers and social monitoring channels
  • Identifying potential brand partnerships and working with our partnership team to negotiate partnership relationships
  • Managing the North American marketing fund for the brand
  • Coordinating with international marketing teams to ensure reasonable consistency and look and feel for each brand
  • Presenting at internal and external company meetings and addressing owner, associate and guest issues and gaining their feedback
  • Collaborating with cross departmental teams on brand related pilots, training and other initiatives as needed



QualificationsMinimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of brand management, brand marketing and/or brand leadership experience
  • Experience with upscale / mass affluent audiences and markets
  • Upscale hotel/hospitality experience preferred
  • BA in marketing or MBA
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail oriented, excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to lead or collaborate in digital and social media channels
  • Experience and track record building media and marketing plans
  • Proven track record of managing budgets, maximizing dollars spent and demonstrating marketing ROI
  • Ability to travel 20%, mainly domestic
