CHSPSC, LLC seeks a Senior Director, IT Governance & Risk Management for its Franklin, TN, headquarters’ MIS team.
Summary: The Sr. Director, IT Governance & Risk Management will work individually and as a team to assist the Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer. He/She will be responsible for the oversight of the IT Internal Controls, IT Risk Management, and IT Quality of Services, including Regulatory Requirements, industry best practices, adoption of new IT standards applicable to the company, oversight of determining significant risk and participating in oversight of Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) compliance as it relates to IT controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. The duties and responsibilities below should be delivered on a consistent, accurate and timely basis while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Create and manage key metrics on IT governance
Act as liaison for external/Internal auditors
Participate in SOX oversight committee to develop and maintain adequate internal controls over IT systems and operations
Assist in preparation of presentations to senior management and the Audit & Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors
Assist in process design and execution including adoption of relevant new standards
Oversight of IT policies and procedures
Oversight of process for defining and validating risk/IT controls/IT quality of services
Work with Market/Regional CIOs to ensure internal controls and disaster recovery plans are updated and validated annually

Must be able to collaborate with peers and other business functions internally/externally to improve the overall performance of the IT organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect relevant data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in process or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Google suite of productivity tools. Familiarity with Medhost, Cerner, Lawson and other key Healthcare Information systems is preferred.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor Degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology)
Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated progressive experience
This position requires a strong understanding of IT beset practices, standards and regulatory requirements.
Supervisory experience required
Healthcare industry experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a complex organization
