The Crown Bolt Sr. Director of Field Operations is responsible for developing strategies and action plans to deliver on revenue and market share goals for the Crown Bolt organization. Leads partnerships with cross functional teams including Field Merchandising, In Store Environment, and Crown Bolt Business Development to drive team optimization and cascade superior service and sales execution down to store level. Provides vision and leadership for the Crown Bolt Regional Sales and Service team.


20%- Leads partnerships with cross functional departments including Field Merchandising, In Store Environment, and Crown Bolt Business Development to develop strategic initiatives that drive team optimization and cascade superior service and sales execution down to store level.
20%- Partners with Merchandising Execution Leadership and Business Development team to find solutions in the resolution of large scale product, merchandising and service related issues.
20%- Collaborates with Sr Leadership Team to identifying growth opportunities, market trends, competitive activity, and developing strategies and tactics accordingly. Leads overall project work flow and roll-out schedule for strategic initiatives.
20%- Leads and develops the Regional Sales and Service team to ensure deliverance on sales, profit, and turns goals. Holds responsibility for Regional Priorities meeting Crown Bolt and Home Depot target sales and profitability growth.
20%- Utilizes field sales strategy to drive focus, resource alignment, and technology enhancements.


This position reports to the CB General Manager.
This position has 5-10 direct reports.


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
10 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

Additional Qualifications:

Prior exposure to sales and field service operations

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting multiple units across a wide geography, preferably in a large format retailer
Vendor relations knowledge and experience
Experience in merchandising or buying roles in a retail organization
Advanced degree in Business

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Ability to influence, lead and manage direct and indirect groups of associates and internal business partners
Proven track record in leading large teams and executing large scale organizational process change
Experience and knowledge of merchandising services, in store environment and strong financial analysis
Merchandising Strategy- Market acumen and experience applying consumer insights
Problem Solving – Gather and analyze information skillfully and ability to create and drive effective solutions
Oral Communication – Ability to persuade or influence others. Strong presentation skills. Fosters open communication; presents a compelling case for proposals and ideas; strong ability to win support from others; is assertive and holds firm when necessary.
Demonstrated ability to understand strategic direction and to formulate tactical plans for execution.
Dependability – Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and schedule demands
