The challenges ahead...
We are seeking a key who will successfully identify and close new business opportunities in assigned accounts to increase 3DS footprint and deliver revenue plan. The Senior Director will sell 3DS value and strategic vision by promoting Industry Fundamentals and/or Brand discipline to secure customer commitment on a long-term business transformation while at the same time aligning and collaborating with Client Executives to engage in line with VALUE ENGAGEMENT deployment.
What will your role be?
- Lead and manage the sales, deployment and adoption of the 3DExperience Platform for academia across NAM
- Achieve all relevant metrics for sales, revenue, deployments, certification, etc.
- Help the brands move their academic focus to the platform (SolidWorks, SIMULIA, BIOVIA, others).
- Be aware of, and advocate for, the brands and their approaches, strengths, etc.
- Be a strong, external networker, driving needed partnerships between academic, industry, government and not-for-profits.
- Represent DS, or coordinate representation and cooperation, in national and regional leadership activities related to education (examples include the ATEA board seat, NAE Grand Challenge Scholars Program global sponsorship, Massachusetts STEM activities, Olin College President's Council, etc.).
- Lead the NAM Institutes and Consortia Committee, helping to vet investments in external national activities. This committee brings together all relevant parts of NAM (channels, industries, brands, finance, legal, academia, etc.) to jointly make and track investment (money and resources) decisions.
Your Success factors?
- Masters degree
- 11 to 15 years of successful software solution sales experience
- Experience in a Domain / Industry is an advantage
