As a Senior Developer on the Concur Spend development for product features used by millions of people around the world. The Vancouver team's focus is on small and medium business customers. Our job is to make the Concur Expense product as simple as possible to try, buy and use, so that small and medium businesses around the world can take their first steps into expense automation. We work in a fast-paced, iterative agile environment; and we operate with an eagerness to push to production.


  • Work in a modern cloud engineering environment of continuous delivery and micro-services
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end stability and operation of the team's services, including on-call duties and incident management and resolution
  • Troubleshoot performance and stability issues with a passion that shows respect to the millions of users who rely on our software
  • Work closely with product management to convert requirements into deployable solutions
  • Continuously grow yourself in both technical and teamwork skills


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently, and have a positive self-motivated, can-do attitude
  • Good people skills


  • At least five years of relevant work experience is a plus, but we are also open to less experienced candidates
  • Solid programming skills in Java (or similar OO language)
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc) and container orchestration systems (i.e. Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and principles of OO design
  • Working knowledge of at least one modern Javascript user interface framework (i.e. React / Redux)
  • Evidence of excellence in some capacity
