POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of the Product Management Team, the Senior Design Manager will be responsible for defining and maintaining persona-based digital user experiences across Millennium Trust Company’s portfolio of retirement and custody service product offerings. This role will be in charge of owning, creating and maintaining the user experience (UX) with the goal of building a compelling singular user experience. The incumbent will have the ability to design products and solutions for a variety of professional audiences spanning multiple investor types while applying creativity, logic, and critical thinking to find the best solution.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work closely with Strategic Business Analysts, internal stakeholders and external clients to identify an all-inclusive user experience that includes industry best practices
• Assist the development team in building solutions that support an end to end product experience
• Focus on user-centered design methods when making design decisions
• Organize and communicate across the organization to ensure consistent product design and brand expression
• Successfully incorporate design methods into an Agile development proces
• Create wireframes, prototypes, work flows and other collateral to visualize and communicate design process and direction
• Partner with Strategic Business Analysts to define user requirements
• Operate with a holistic perspective: balancing the top-down strategic view within the context of a bottom-up detail focus to ensure program effectiveness within the context of the business objectives
• Act as a business liaison between IT and select operating teams to ensure that product and program requirements are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle
• Leverage analytics and market intelligence to identify cost optimization and revenue opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Interactive Media or related field
• 10+ years of Design experience
• 3-5 years of prior work experience in a financial services industry preferred
• Proven understanding of building digital experiences and products through user-centric design
• Ability to be proactive and analytical
• Affinity for solving problems and proposing solutions
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience leading and inspiring cross-functional development teams
• Proven ability to earn respect and credibility throughout an organization
• Ability to strive for excellence: celebrate and push the boundaries of creativity in unexpected ways
• Working knowledge of IRAs and alternative assets preferred
