Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Business Information Team to rollout and support the new Usage Data Warehouse environment
  • Provide database expertise
  • Maintain support for database related functions in the Usage Data Warehouse environment
  • Work with Bentley’s NOC team to provide monitoring for Usage Data Warehouse environment
  • Implement database tuning processes
  • Perform database design audits and review
  • If needed, assist with DBA tasks to offset the team’s current workload.

    Required Skills

    Minimum of 4-8 years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server in a production environment is required. Must have Technical skills/experience in:

  • Backups, restores and recovery
  • Performance Tuning and Optimization
  • High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
  • SQL Server Clustering, Mirroring, Log Shipping
  • Ability to implement automation and reduce manual administrative tasks
  • SQL Server Always On

    Desired Skills

  • Experience with industry standard privacy and security certifications including: ISO 27001, AICPA SOC1/2 and PCI desired
  • Oracle and MySQL a strong plus.
  • Experience with industry standard privacy and SOX related compliances
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud data components such as Azure SQL
