Work with marketing, information technology, operations, and other departments to deliver reports and analysis that drive decision making. Provide in-depth insights and recommendations that drive business results. Provide highly consumable data to the organization. Support your assigned region and casino properties through monthly reporting and analysis that provides insights into business and marketing performance. Serve as a liaison for analytics team on intercompany initiatives.
Develops analytical frameworks and repeatable models to support high-impact, corporate initiatives related to marketing.
Develops and presents comprehensive presentations to senior leadership in order to articulate and depict best practice recommendations for implementation.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses of marketing programs and customer trends.
Write SQL to extract data from Boyd data warehouses.
Support direct marketing, special events, and promotional activities through robust customer segmentation, performance analysis, test design and analysis, and predictive modeling.
Analyze Marketing programs/processes and make recommendations for improvement of their timeliness, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Work with data models, identify and utilize reporting tools, and aid in the development of solutions and decisions on managing and evolving the Regional database marketing function.
Provide internal team members with training, including but not limited to, analytical best practices, relational databases, and support for analytical tools.
Provide input into strategic analytical initiatives and represent the analytics team as needed for intercompany initiatives.
Create job flows and maintain documentation of processes.
Maintain all files of all completed jobs.
Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained for assigned jobs.
Adhere to program and department budgets.
Assist properties with their marketing campaigns when needed.
Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with outside vendors, the properties and other corporate departments.
Bachelor’s degree with quantitative focus required, masterspreferred.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant relational database analysis experiencerequired.
Working knowledge of SQL, MicroStrategy, Cognos, MS Access, or similar tools required.
Knowledge of database/direct mail program design, production, and fulfillment is preferred.
Demonstrated professionalism and leadership skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Organized and detail oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
Works well under pressure.
