Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Senior Data Architect (Yugabyte DB). This role will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. The Ideal Candidate will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Required Senior Data Architect (Yugabyte DB) Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply, we are unable to sponsor at this time
• IT experience > 11 years
• Hands on experience with NoSql data modeling
• Query performance tuning techniques on Yugabyte (similar skills in Memsql, Cassandra, Cockroach DB experience will be considered)
• Supporting microservice development team on best practices from database perspective
• Experience with high volume databases with low latency architecture for application
• Effective participation in architecture and design sessions
• Ability to work in fast pace with several teams

Preferred Senior Data Architect (Yugabyte DB) Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Capable of analyzing Business requirements and building Functional requirements.
• Good analytical skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Attitude to learn new technologies and working on new projects.
• Highly Sensitive to Information Security and Data Privacy laws.
