This position is responsible for leading the effort in synthesizing and analyzing disparate data, and translate findings into insights and actionable recommendations to guide business planning for the senior leadership team.
Analyze and reportinternal sales and budget forecasts, marketing and sales functional expertise, external construction/mining/industrial/petroleum and agricultural industry, market, channel, and economic data sources to support marketing and sales initiatives.
Integrate diverse data streams such as the dealer business system, demographic, economic, behavioral, social, and third party data into insights to inform dealer marketing and sales decisions.
Evaluate market performance and opportunities, geographical rep territories, and share of wallet results within our Caterpillar territory, and provides recommendations on how to drive increased sales and profitability.
Translate dealer and customer data into understandable insight and presents complex information simply, efficiently, and clearly from a story-telling perspective, and tailors communication styles to the audience's needs.
This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication, analytical skills, time management and presentation skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively with senior leadership as well as convey both technical and no technical concepts to a wide audience.
Minimum of three years of experience related experiencerequired. Five to eight years preferred.
Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools such as DBS, Google Analytics, CRM required.
Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative analysis, econometrics, or related field preferred.
