Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Data Analyst for its Charlotte, NC location.


Undertake SQL database management and analysis/reporting related to consumer complaints, compliance risk assessment, and tool development for management reporting.Work with internal stakeholders to determine requirements for data and reporting.Develop new database solutions and provide oversight and continuous improvements to the design and functionality of current SQL database.Develop ETL processes for data aggregation and migration using SSIS and Python.Create automated processes for risk assessment and analytics initiatives.Recommend and develop effective dashboards using reporting tools, such as Tableau and SSRS.Apply optimization techniques to streamline data collection from multiple datasets and data validation procedures.Perform statistical analyses, using Python or R, to derive insights from multiple data sources. Interpret and present statistical results in clear and concise manner to management.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or directly related quantitative discipline followed by six years of progressive experience in position offered or directly related position. Full term of experience must involve the following: Building, optimizing and maintaining databases within SQL Server and Oracle environments, including Database Modeling for relational databases; Database Administration, including access control and maintenance, database and object creation (i.e., stored procedures, triggers, views and tables), ETL development and data migration from unstructured sources using SSIS and Python; Data querying, aggregation, manipulation and reporting using Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, T-SQL, or Python; Basic Optimizations (including indexing strategies); Backup and restore processes; and management of database access/availability groups; Data visualization, creating reports and executive dashboards using SSRS/SSIS and Tableau to provide actionable data insights; Experience with data governance challenges and approaches, including metadata, data quality, and data stewardship.Experience must also include performing statistical analysis using Python or R in the application of process controls and the derivation of insights from data.
