We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Coordinator, Client Development to join our Litigation Marketing and Client Development team. The Sr. Coordinator will support the Global Marketing and Client Development Litigation group in coordinating and executing a variety of marketing and business development initiatives. This position offers growth potential within a collaborative and forward-thinking team. Job DescriptionESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Tracking BD Initiatives and Materials - Gather and maintain information on business development plans and budgets
- Coordinate and track the status of various business development initiatives, events, and webinars
- Monitor and assess pitch and proposal activities, following up with team members to document and share outcomes and best practices
- Compile and track practice matter experience in the firm's global credential database
- Provide assistance for research projects, including client, industry and competitive intelligence and compile research reports for business development opportunities
Pitch and Proposal Development- Assist in the creation, preparation, and coordination of RFPs, proposals, and pitches for new business development opportunities
Database and CRM Maintenance- Manage and update databases containing key practice group information, client profiles, and experience details
- Ensure accurate and current records in the CRM system to support business development and marketing activities
- Help to update and maintain various Firm mailings lists used for event and client mailings, including data entry and research
Content, Collateral Management and Rankings Support - Support the production of the group's client alerts, newsletters, blogs, and related external client announcements
- Maintain, update, and enhance practice-specific marketing materials, including lawyer biographies and matter descriptions
- Support web content management, coordinating updates to case studies, events, and client communications
- Coordinate submission of content for legal directories, awards, and industry guides
Other- Performs any and all other duties as necessary and as assigned by your supervisor for efficient functioning of the Department, Office and Firm.
QUALIFICATIONS / KSAs:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business development or marketing, preferably within the legal or professional services sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Conduct research and competitive intelligence projects that support BD initiatives
- Clearly demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate rigorous attention to process and detail, taking pride in work product
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing competing responsibilities under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Works collaboratively with teammates to drive the positive outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and familiarity with digital marketing platforms is preferred
Additional Job DescriptionAt the time of this posting, the salary range for this position in New York is $70,000 to $105,000 annually. Actual compensation is commensurate with job related knowledge, skills, experience and location of the position.
