Description: OPENINGS WITH ASML US, LP: Design, define and implement complex system requirements. Determine system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. Work from broadly defined systems specifications to determine appropriate top-down controls architecture. Analyze system performance against requirements, and documents results. Design, develop and implement complex algorithms involving controller design, system identification, signal processing and stochastic signal analysis for CO2 lasers and other equipment used in the semiconductor industry. Conduct laboratory research pertaining to algorithm design and validation. Design and build tools that allow debugging, analysis and evaluation of systems performance, and determine the root cause for failures in products. Lead the development of basic design parameters and architecture, to carry a design from the conceptual stage through implementation and deployment. Generate software requirements specifications for control algorithm designs. Document resultant designs with written theory of operation descriptions, procedures, and training materials. Analyze and communicate customer needs and reconciles these with management needs. Oversee transition of new designs to Software Development, including assessment of technical risk and feedback on qualification testing plan. Acquire test data according to a loosely defined test protocol, and modify protocol in cooperation with scientists as necessary to ensure success of tests, and create detailed test plans.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Control or Electrical Engineering, and 4 years of professional experience in the job offered, or related capacity(ies).
