We are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing and IT Consulting firm serving the paper and packaging industry. We work very closely with our clients to support a culture of continuous improvement. Challenges will include design and implementation of new solutions, as well as support and improvement of existing systems.

As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will:

• Take full responsibility for client solutions from concept to production to maintenance.
• Develop project requirements, objectives and deliverables in cooperation with our team.
• Interact with equipment suppliers to develop control interfaces between disparate systems.
• Support and/or lead development, maintenance, and engineering documentation functions.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate solutions prior to and in production.

To qualify, you should have excellent communication skills, be a superb leader, be adept at leading customers, and:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with PLCs like Allen Bradley and Siemens preferred, Omron applicable.
• Experience integrating business software with material handling equipment and manufacturing machines.
