This is a key financial position supporting the senior executive team to drive accounting and financial compliance activities including management of financial accounting, statutory accounting and month end close.

Some of the main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Manage monthly consolidation (international entities, multi-currency) and management reports; Ensure all monthly and annual individual and consolidated statutory financial statements are prepared, audited and filed in accordance with local and corporate deadlines
  • Manage monthly close process; establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives; prepare monthly reporting package
  • Monitor daily cash reporting
  • Manage 3rd party banking relationships and provide reporting on covenants, availability, etc.
  • Manage annual audit for US and foreign entities, including annual statutory audits, bank audits and salestaxaudits; manage preparation of auditschedules preparation and submission
  • Review monthly revenue recognition process
  • Process income tax returns
  • Manage all legal contracts
  • Preparation of annual budgets and monthly revenue forecasts, analyze results and provide explanations to executive management

Desired background:

  • Degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experiencerequired (professional services industry experiencepreferred)
  • US and international consolidated accounting and reporting required 
  • Experience using Great Plains preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret financial data, draw sound conclusions
  • Detail oriented, possessing good analytical skills, yet clearly articulate results and outcomes of analysis in executive summary 
  • Solid track record of successfully managing and motivating a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present to the highest level and able to influence both peers and senior managers
