Detroit area Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to help innovate and develop world class embedded software for automotive ECU's used in active chassis applications. Will be responsible for designing and developing fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determining methods, procedures, and conditions for testing software products as well as developing software applications for controls, instruments, and systems for chassis controls systems. Will also lead internal and external design reviews for prototype and production designs, models, and drawings using analysis techniques such as the DFMEA and/or DRBFM to identify and
assess design and manufacturing risks. Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Software Engineering and a minimum of 7years of experience in an automotive design and manufacturing environment including fundamental control system modeling and schematic skills and experience with AutoSAR, Matlab/Simulink, C/C++ or related software. Must also have experience with LIN, CAN, ISO9141driver interfaces and APQP process for developing software for serial production. A working knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, DFSS, DFA, DFM, APQP, VAVE and experience implementing ISO-26262/IEC-61508 also required. Must be willing to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally to customer sites. Salary starts at $100,000 and full benefits including 401K match.
