Contracts Negotiator Senior position supporting the ATMP Program within the ESS market segment.

Responsibilities include ensuring contract compliance and efficient contract administration and establishing and maintaining excellent customer relations, both internally and externally.

Advises management of contractual rights, obligations and risks; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Manages and participates in and/or conducts contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Desired skills

Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close-out.

Strong negotiation skills and working knowledge of FAR / DFARS.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and LM's Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) and Intra-Work Transfer Agreement (IWTA) system with an ability to grasp other software applications required to perform job duties.

Ability to travel, as required.
