Job Description

The Consultant/Senior Consultant provides direct service to a variety of nonprofit clients with critical missions primarily serving the Higher Education, Healthcare, Independent School, and Social & Global Impact Sectors. This position provides strategic advice and hands-on implementation in order to partner with clients to accomplish stated goals and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serving as a model for Graham-Pelton's "responsible consulting" approach
  • Facilitate key relationships with clients and Graham-Pelton colleagues
  • Facilitate key relationships with colleagues assigned to the project
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the firm's technological tools
  • Prepare, develop and deliver materials for client engagement
  • Provide on-site and off-site service to assigned clients
  • Facilitate and lead regular team and client conference calls, meetings and coordinate team's work
  • Attend and participate in key meetings with clients and prospective clients
  • Organize and drive work of internal project teams, ensuring progress toward project milestones and completion
  • Work with project teams to ensure client-related communication is meeting the firm's objectives
  • Provide strategic counsel to advance the service engagement
  • Provide critical support of sales activities
  • Spot opportunities for continued service / new engagements, leveraging personal and client referrals


Required Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous nonprofit fundraising or development experience in one of Graham-Pelton's primary sectors of Healthcare, Higher Education, Independent Schools, or Social & Global Impact
  • Willingness to travel (driver's license required)
  • Remote position located in New England
