Primary Responsibilities

The Omaha, NE Office of HDR is looking to fill a position of Senior Commissioning Agent. The Senior Commissioning Agent (SCxA) will be the main contact between the client and HDR and will directly manage or deliver all commissioning activities for assigned projects. This position will be responsible for adhearing to budgeted manhours and direct costs associated with assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include planning, directing, monitoring, developing, and managing all aspects commissioning services and projects associated with small to large scale and high degree of technical complexity. Applicant shall have experience in developing and writing commissioning plans, writing complex testing procedures, reviewing project documentation, developing training plans, reviewing O&M manuals, and implementing a detailed resolution process for deficient system operations. The applicant shall have some level of experience with Test, Adjust, & Balance of air and water systems. The position will require the ability to travel to both domestic and international project sites.




Minimum of seven (7) years of Commissioning or industry experience in both new and existing buildings to include hospital, lab civic, airport, and/or corrections where the applicant was the lead commissioning agent.

Association and certification with either BCA or ACG for providing commissioning services is preferred.

A registered engineer is a plus, but not required.

Applicant must have the ability to interact with various design and construction teams, clients, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have project management experience.

The applicant must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database understanding.

Experience in providing Test & Balance services will be highly considered.
