Do you have a passion for being a Cloud Services thought leader/evangelist, for driving innovation and change?Dell Technologies Services (DTS), a key area of growth for Dell Technologies, is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to support our global Cloud Services Product team. This role will be focus on conceptualizing, defining and developing tools and platforms for the delivery of Dell's new APEX Cloud Services, as well as supporting development of new Workload offers and solutions on the APEX platform.

What you'll achieve

This is a lead architect role supporting the Product Management team, where you will be working with multiple architects working on IaaS, PaaS and other cloud services. This includes developing the architecture and providing guidance to development teams around implementation of services and best practices for multi-cloud deployments and associated operational platforms and tools.

You will:

• A partner that works with Product Management and Customers to understand the Vision, co-define the technology strategy alongside the CTO team and work across internal architects in various R&D teams to spearhead execution
• An architect who works both at the thousand-foot level in terms of laying the architecture as well as working on the ground with quick prototyping and rapid development alongside the engineering teams
• A SME who provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities
• An innovator who drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization
• Provide technical oversight for defining and designing the operational platforms and tools that will help drive the scalability, resiliency and reliability of Dell APEX Cloud services
• Provide architectural and technical oversight for development of APEX Cloud Service Workload offers and related solutions

Essential Requirements

• M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, technical degree, or equivalent work experience
• 15+ years of experience in Architecting and Implementing highly available and scalable products - with emphasis on products for highly technical users (e.g. software engineers, system engineers, site reliability engineers)
• 5+ years of experience of building "Cloud Scale" Services for PaaS and/or IaC Automation for Infrastructure Management -with proven and in-depth experience in architecting, designing and delivering highly scalable services for at least two of the following cloud platforms - Azure, AWS and/or GCP
• Strong security experience and DevSecOps knowledge, with in-depth technical knowledge in delivering highly secure services on the cloud is preferred
• Experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment of PaaS/SaaS software
• Good understanding of Virtualization technologies - VMs, Containers, VMware, KVM, Kubernetes & Functions-aaS

Desirable Requirements

• Adept at managing customer relationships, capable of engaging in the business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization including, GM, CTO, Architects, and Executive Engineering Management
• Experience on a fast paced and agile environment and good understanding of agile software development tools & methodologies
