SAVA is looking to hire a Senior Cloud Administrator to support a very large complex operational environments for one of our valuable customers, a reputed Federal Agency in Sterling. The position requires technical skills at Enterprise-level and must be able to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical issues.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide daily operational support of a global, complex, IT enterprise.

  • Demonstrates proficiency managing complex assignments.

  • Analyze system faults, review diagnostic tests, and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems and underlying hardware to identify problems.

  • Must be able to work collaboratively, and cooperatively, as a member of a team, but also work independently and apply sound judgment and effective work prioritization without direct supervision.

  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills are required.

  • Participate in rotating 24x7 on-call support


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:


  • A minimum of either (8) years of operational experience focused on supporting large-scale Windows based environments is required.
  • Must posses an active DOD Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated experience in Windows Server 2012/2016 administration.
  • Experiencing administering web based applications is required.
  • Understanding of basic Linux and/or UNIX Operating System maintenance.
  • Capable of reviewing existing processes and identifying possible process improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience in one of the following virtual infrastructure technologies: VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V.


Preferred Quaifications:


  • VCP, C/ASEP, NCP, MCSA/E, or CCNA/P/IE Datacenter
  • Advanced Active Directory skills such as, but not limited to: Group Policy management, AD replication, AD PowerShell commands, LDAP queries, and ADSIEdit
  • Prior experience with SAN/NAS devices, CommVault, and Cisco or HP blade systems.
  • Knowledge of server hardware location and function.
  • Understanding of network technologies (LAN vs WAN troubleshooting, VLAN identification, &c)
  • DEA suitability is highly desired
