The Senior Clinical/Statistical SAS Programmer is responsible for executing programming and verification activities in coordination with project teams with minimal supervision. S/he will develop, create, verify/validate, and manage the programs for assigned projects in compliance with standard operating procedures, using and enforcing CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards.
Independently perform SAS programming and Analysis support of analysis datasets, listings, summaries, and tables.
Write SAS Application code
Validate SAS programs for Submissions
Perform Migrations and verifications
Generate all necessary output for the compilation of statistical appendices for CTR, ISS, and ISE.
Routinely interface with a cross-function of client and team members.
Participate in the validation of SAS programs and maintaining validation documentation.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent. Masters Degree Preferred.
8-10 Years Pharmaceutical or CRO industry. Experienced in clinical reporting and statistical applications systems/sub-systems.
SDTM and ADaM experience required
Strong competence in SAS programming on multiple platforms and operating systems, e.g Windows, NT, UNIX, VMS, etc. is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, outlook.
Effective verbal and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of pharmaceutical clinical development ie. understanding safety deliverables, efficacy analysis.
