Role:

The main purpose of this position is to ensure accuracy of client campaigns and communications and adherence to governence standards within the client communication workstream.  This objective is primarily achieved through the review and testing of client communications including content, coded logic, versioning, list targeting, and offer fulfillment.  In this connection, the position will enhance the client experience through higher quality communications in which  TD Ameritrade aims to achieve its overall strategy of developing and maintaining a timely and relevant dialogue with the client. 

Responsibilities:

  • Use requirements documentation, campaign management software (SAS) and SQL tools (SAS, Aginity or WinSQL) to analyze, document and check for errors in list selection and targeting
  • Work with campaign managers and database marketing analysts to understand campaign requirements and production output to evaluate if objectives are being met
  • Auditcampaign communications for content, data record (addresses), and offer code accuracy
  • Monitor production workflow of recurring automated and event triggered campaigns
  • Develop controls and reports to identify exceptions or anomalies
  • Research and resolve observed exceptions and variances
  • Establish and support an integrated QA program across several functional groups that contribute to the client campaign communication workstream
  • Partner with Marketing’s Governance team ensuring a QA program integrates and supports standards establish by the Governance group
  • Assist Marketing Data Governance Officers and Data Stewards

Requirements:

  • 4 Year College Degree
  • Degree in Database Marketing or MIS Preferred
  • 5+ Years Total Related Experience
  • Proven experience designing and executing quality assurance programs and detailed testing plans
  • Intermediate experience using relational databases and extracting information using query tools  employing Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Basic understanding of database marketing principles and practices including campaign management, list creation, client profiling, and segmentation
  • Basic knowledge of html
  • Ability to interpret campaign objectives and translate those into requirements and reconcile those requirements with produced campaign communications and related outputs
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and coordinate QA process steps across multiple functional groups
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
