Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity in EDA (Electronic Design Automation).

If you have a solid software background and are interested in supporting semiconductor chip design, this maybe the job for you.

The candidate will:

  • Provide tool support to design team members implementing System-on-Chip designs
  • Maintain and develop flow for use by diverse teams to facilitate SOC development
  • Document processes and flows
  • Interface with SOC implementation teams to understand their needs and ensure the developed flow meets these needs

Job Requirements

  • BSEE or equivalent (MSEE preferred) with 5+ years of experience
  • Working knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog for synthesis
  • Understanding of SOC architectures and design concerns (Timing, DFT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SOC implementation tools – synthesis, formal verification, static timing analysis (Design Compiler, Formality, PrimeTime or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux
  • Proficiency in common scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python, csh, etc.)
  • Familiarity with revision control tools (Git, SVN, ICManage, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
