As part of an SAP Global Project Initiative, you will work with business resources and development teams throughout the complete project life cycle. Primary responsibilities will include defect resolution and production support activities.
Analyst responsibilities will include defining business processes, configuring the application, authoring functional specifications, and planning and performing system testing activities.
Development responsibilities would include reviewing functional designs, authoring technical designs and progressing the solution from design though the software development life-cycle to implementation.
This individual will provide business system analysis as well as functional and development support for SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management). CRM experience should include Quotation Management and Sales.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
‒ Executes configuration requests for SAP CRM and related areas
‒ Assists in gathering, documenting and clarifying business requirements
‒ Creates functional designs using a disciplined application implementation methodology
‒ Translates system requirements into unit and function test scripts
‒ Develops and maintains applications for business processes and systems
‒ Develops and unit tests application programs as specified in Technical Designs and obtains code reviews from Lead Developer, while ensuring that all programming standards and policies are adhered to
‒ Reviews Functional Designs and authors Technical Designs
‒ Executes unit test scripts, and supporting function and user acceptance testing
‒ Provides training to end users and create end-user documentation
‒ Assists Project Managers in identifying tasks and developing project plans
‒ Leads cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver the selected solution
‒ Provides production support of applications in production by trouble shooting issues, proposing solutions, develops and tests fixes and migrate solution
‒ Assists Project Managers in the execution of project tasks and communicates issues and status in a timely manner
‒ Represents IT as the principal technical contact and perform technical project leadership role; interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information to build consensus regarding project direction
‒ Ensures adherence to development best practices and standards of associate application developers and application developers within their immediate group
‒ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 8+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years of related experience
‒ 6+ years experience customizing and configuring SAP CRM Applications utilizing SAP Application Analyst standards and tools (SAP Solution Manager with ChaRM)
‒ Knowledge gained from utilizing system development methods in a global environment
‒ Experience with transport management
‒ Knowledge of SAP’s technical infrastructure including table definitions, users exits, enhancements, and idocs
‒ Good experience in One Order framework, CRM ABAP, Web UI Development and Enhancement
‒ Good experience in GENIL and BOL programing and GENIL Object Enhancement
‒ Experience in developing Object Oriented ABAP using ABAP Objects & using ABAP development tools in ABAP in Eclipse
‒ Experience in Enhancements, BADI’s, Customer Events, User exits & Implicit & Explicit Enhancements, BAPI
‒ Business analysis experience and ability to write business requirements and functional specifications
‒ Strong analytical skills combined with a sense of urgency and high energy level
‒ Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to articulate technical concepts to business leaders; demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
‒ Exposure to and working knowledge of SAP CRM and SAP ECC Sales and Distribution applications; strong in pricing within SAP ECC and SAP CRM
‒ Experience in at least one of the following: Vendavo or similar package software, SAP SSC (Solution Sales Configuration), SAP Variant Configuration or Hybris
‒ Make-to-Order / Assemble-to-Order environment
‒ SAP tools such as LSMW, SQVI, SQ01
‒ Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations
‒ High tech industry experience
