Senior Business Project Manager



Job Description

The individual in this role will be held accountable for overseeing the coordination, management, status reporting and stability of projectoriented work efforts of various size and complexity to support the business. Works closely with leadership from different functional areas tounderstand business priorities and drive business value through business outcomes. Utilizes accepted project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meeting customer expectations and adhering to high quality standards. Partners with IT to ensure ongoing operational support for business applications. Additional responsibilities include driving the development and maintaining consistent business processes and procedures as well as recommending improvements and enhancements to current solutions in place.



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business or other related field
  • 8+ years experience as a business project manager, business analyst, project coordinator or related
  • Proficient in key project management activities including development of project charter/scope, work breakdown structure, scope and change control, cost estimation/budgeting, risk identification and mitigation, communication and reporting, and management of all projectlife cycle phases
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to make decisions
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, presentation skills, and mentoring/coaching
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and be adaptive to change
  • Ability to work as an effective team member
  • Waterfall and/or Agile methodology experience


  • Proficiency in MS Project
  • Travel may be required 10%
  • PMP or PMI Certification desired
