Position Overview:

The Senior Business Program Manager is responsible for managing a team of individuals whose responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of business processes as well as participating in process improvement projects in the area of customer experience. This position will be responsible for analyzing trends derived from our key indicators and evaluating the effectiveness of current business processes. This position will report to the Director of Customer Service and support the Customer Service Operations teams, across the United States, in the areas of resource deployment, continuous improvement of customer service facing processes, and software development automation project management.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Process owner for ERP and CRM integration and post go-live power user support for order entry, order management and post-sales support
  • Aligns software implementation of ERP, Ecommerce, and CRM to ensure smooth implementation and continuity across platforms
  • Manages cross-functionally with production, finance, supply chain, technology services and other customer facing teams to ensure smooth transition with on-going software deployments, upgrades and new product launches
  • Ensure continuous improvement of Customer Service Operations departments by documenting processes, identifying areas for continuous improvement, implementing process improvement changes and documenting work instructions
  • Develop and maintain project plans & schedules for multiple simultaneous projects. Facilitate project scoping and scheduling efforts to determine commitments and timelines driving alignment across stakeholder and delivery teams
  • Responsible for managing departmental compliance database surrounding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which includes developing and modifying procedures parallel to new product launches and/or future acquisitions as it pertains to Customer Service Operations
  • Manage direct and indirect reports in designated departments locally and remotely and in a matrix environment
  • Promote cross-level and cross-functional collaboration

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience managing a team and leading cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Experience managing projects in the manufacturing industry that involve mechanical engineering and software development
  • Experience defining and implementing business processes
  • Demonstrated personal skills and abilities to manage programs or projects with responsibility for management and control of cost, schedule, performance, and communicating/interfacing between the project team(s), stakeholders and leadership
  • Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in project management, business, finance or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience facilitating prioritization of efforts with cross-functional leadership
  • PMP Certification or demonstrated competency in managing complex projects
