As a member of the Product and Development team, the Senior Business & Marketing Analyst is responsible to identify products and services that reduce the distribution costs and protects/increases airline revenues through marketing activities which include market research, analysis, marketing artifacts, competitor scans market intelligence, product launch/adoption and monitoring market trends.
This position is responsible to take a leadership role in the development, planning and execution of the product marketing strategy including go-to-market strategies for their assigned product. In addition, the Analyst will assist in identifying areas for growth and create a strategic product roadmap to help drive adoption of the product and differentiating features.
The Market Analyst must have a fundamental understanding of the travel industry, the value chain and how the ATPCO products are utilized. This position requires a working knowledge of the ATPCO product portfolio and a high-level understanding of ATPCO’s Life Cycle of the Fare. In addition the Analyst needs an understanding of airline and traveldistribution economics and the multiple commercial models in the travel industry, with a focus on traveldistribution technologies. The Analyst will be responsible to proactively cultivate their personal knowledge of the travel industry through active reading, discussions with industry contacts, and participation at tradeevents and conferences. This position is responsible to provide comprehensive analysis and research, problem resolution, evaluation of business proposals and development of solutions and on-going support of assigned products including gathering and translating user needs into business requirements and functional specifications.
