Stellar is seeking a Senior Business Development Leader to support our strategic selling team. Stellar is a leading design & construction company providing integrated design, engineering, construction and mechanical services globally. It is uniquely positioned to provide products and services to the food and beverage industry.

The Senior Business Development Leader will work closely with engineering and operational personnel in food and beverage companies, providing engineering expertise and problem-solving advice. This is your opportunity to join an impressive technical sales force.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and developing all territory potential, conducting presentations, obtaining favorable specifications for our products and services
  • Managing sales, developing proposal responses and generating orders
  • Work as a collaborative member of our sales team to sell our products and services
  • Provide sales support for multiple projects and clients
  • Developing relationships with key clients, implementing sales strategies
  • Maintain sales reporting processes and procedures
  • Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences
  • Work independently and as a vital member of a sales team
  • Other duties as assigned


  • BS in a relevant discipline (Sales, construction management or related engineering field)
  • Excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • 10 years of experience in sales in the Food and Beverage and/or Refrigeration industry
  • Strong sales and negotiation ability
  • Ability to understand general engineering documentation
  • Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Willingness to travel (60%).
