In this role, the business architect will be responsible for:

  • Designing and guiding a business architecture blueprint of the enterprise, particularly MMUS, which aligns to the business strategy
  • Analyzing and developing a business model for connecting business strategies with business goals
  • Collaborating across MMUS with an array of stakeholders including senior management, business leaders, IT architecture, business development, in order to connect the business architecture roadmap with operational decisions
  • Creating capability models and facilitating the identification
  • of solutions
  • Establishing best practices for key business architecture services


  • Sound understanding of business principles and concepts
    • Such as: how markets influence business, what are the differentiating factors of the business, what and how values are created, and how strategies may be supported.
  • Strong communication, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to think about business in a way that is abstracted from how the business functions and how technology is implemented
  • Facilitation and training skills for groups of various size and seniority
